Efecto de la restauración simétrica para la migración de la artroplastia total de cadera no cementada: un estudio aleatorizado de RSA con 75 pacientes y seguimiento a 5 años

La colocación inferior de un vástago femoral es predictiva de aflojamiento temprano y falla, pero ¿la restauración de la anatomía original de la cadera beneficia la función y la supervivencia de un reemplazo total de cadera?
El vástago modular proporcionó una buena restauración anatómica simétrica y, como la versión estándar, un comportamiento migratorio benigno. La cuota de anteversión, compensación global (GO) y compensación femoral / compensación acetabular (FO / AO) no tuvo un impacto significativo en la migración del tallo. Por lo tanto, parece no tener importancia si elegimos un vástago modular o estándar con respecto a la migración del vástago postoperatorio para este tipo de vástago. Sobreestimamos el efecto que los parámetros anatómicos tienen sobre el movimiento del tallo; por lo tanto, creemos que el estudio tiene poca potencia.

Ambos tipos de vástagos mostraron una buena estabilización temprana después de una ligera rotación inicial en retroversión y subsidencia. No hubo diferencias significativas en la migración del análisis radiostereométrico (RSA) entre tallos modulares y estándar.
